Meet Our Team
Dr Janice Lau, AHPRA Registration No DEN0001171108, type: General
Dr Janice Lau
BDS (Hons)
Dr Janice graduated from the University of Sydney (1st class Hons) in 2003, followed by several years working in Westmead Dental Hospital, private practices and at times being a clinical educator of dental students at the University of Sydney.
In 2008, Dr Janice started Bright-On Bay Dental Clinic in her father’s medical practice (Dr William Lau). Their family have been serving and residing in the local St George community for over 40 years.
Being an independent, family-owned practice allows Dr Janice to practice dentistry in an unrestricted way. This enables her to help others with her dental expertise and provide them with quality dental treatment. Dr Janice really hopes that she can help you and your family – that’s just the type of person she is! She passionately equips each patient with knowledge about their oral health and how to make appropriate changes that will benefit them, their family and friends. That way, regardless of where life may take them, they can look after their oral health.
Technology has brought some great changes to the way dentistry is practiced, to make it more comfortable, convenient and cost effective for the patient. Continual professional development means that Dr Janice has integrated new technology into Bright-On Bay Dental to benefit our patients.
Aside from work, she now has of two beautiful, happy young boys. This has helped spark a desire to learn more about how to help nurture and develop young children as she puts her best efforts to raising them. She is a big advocate of early detection and intervention which corrects problems that can impede a child’s growth and development. This helps to minimise future treatment needs and costs.
We are proud to announce that as of 2021, Bright-On Bay Dental is ‘going green’ with our products and services to help reduce our impact on the environment.

Ms Rehab Osman, AHPRA Registration No DEN0001871605, type: General
Rehab
Dental Hygienist / Therapist
Rehab completed her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Sydney in 2013. Upon graduation she was accepted into an exclusive graduate program which took her to rural NSW. Her experiences in Public Rural Health gave her so many more opportunities to learn and gain valuable clinical experience she would not have encountered in metropolitan clinics.
Rehab is passionate about preventive dentistry and has the ability to find what drives and motivates people to foster good habits, no matter what their age.
Rehab enjoys putting children at ease and makes dental experiences fun and engaging! There always seems to be so much positive noise and activity going on in the treatment rooms when she is around!
When not at work, you can find Rehab enjoying a coffee at her local café, enjoying the sunshine at the beach, playing with her nieces and nephews or on a new hiking trail where she gets her grounded free flowing finesse.
